Billing, Credits & Plans

What credits are spent on, and what each plan unlocks — for full pricing see sudoji.io/pricing.

How credits work

Sudoji is pay-as-you-go: every message consumes credit based on tokens used, deducted automatically — there's nothing to manually track. New accounts start with a one-time credit on sign-up (Free plan); paid plans top up credit each billing cycle.

At zero balance: any turn already in progress still finishes, but new messages are blocked — from the terminal, the portal, and the daemon alike — until you top up at Dashboard → Billing. You'll see a low-balance warning once credit drops below $2.

Plans, briefly

Three tiers — Free, Engineer, and Enterprise. The full feature/price comparison lives on the pricing page; the two things that actually change how you use the CLI/portal day to day:

sudoji ask / sudoji chatAvailable on every plan, including Free.
sudoji daemon + portal-only sendingRequires Engineer or Enterprise. On Free, you can still chat via the CLI directly — the daemon just won't stay connected for the portal to reach it.
Advanced Model (++ prefix)Engineer/Enterprise only. The Advanced Model still auto-activates for everyone once a session reaches the fix phase.

Checking usage from the CLI

sudoji doctor confirms your key and connectivity but doesn't show balance — check remaining credit and usage history from Dashboard → Billing.
